I'm a contractor re-entering the business of buying, renovating and flipping homes. My first flip in almost 15 years went off without a hitch. I was vacationing with my family when I received a call from Scott Harrity regarding a property he thought would be ideal for kickstarting my return to the market. I had less than 12 hours to view, make a decision and make an offer on the home in a hot sellers market. I assumed there were going to be multiple offers, all or mostly from other investors. Because I was away and unable to visit the property , I was going to have to make a decision on a property purchase price sight unseen. I had to rely on Scott's experience on property valuation, assessment of the overall property condition and to a large extent the potential turn around costs. Through it all I submitted an offer, was fortunate enough to win the bid and in the end turned a nice profit.
